Ideal for one or two persons or as an add-on to one of our Stargazers, Cabins, or Lodge rooms. The Sheep Wagon can be moved to share the space with your other booking (ie. next to your Stargazer or Cabin).

The Sheep Wagon is built to resemble an authentic sheep herders wagon used to follow and care for the sheep on the open range and mountain meadows.. Inspired by late 19th century pioneer wagons, the sheep wagon evolved to give shepherds a mobile cabin with which to follow and tend the flock.

Our Sheep Wagon sleeps 2 and has a small wood burning stove for heat and minimal cooking. A composting toilet and an external solar shower. 

It can be moved near to your Stargazer A-Frame or Cabin or the Lodge to allow your group more space with a unique mountain experience. Share your shower and bathhouse with your group or use the Sheep Wagon composting toilet and solar shower. Call for details and add-on unit discounts.

The Sheep Wagon can also be rented as a stand alone unit tucked into the trees. Complete with wood burner, compost toilet, and solar shower.

Enjoy 10 acres South Dakotas most beautiful scenery and wildlife. Build a fire in one of our fire-pits or simply sit and enjoy the stars.
